The year of 2008 was a year full of happenings for our church. Many, many blessings we can share. We can also share several challenges and moments of losses. NEW BRAZIL MISSION TRIP 2010 -This year from July 10 to July 24th, volunteers from South Presbyterian Church in Yonkers, students from the Interdenominational Theological Center and the team of Point of Encounter will serve, learn and dialogue with communities in Recife and Pesqueira in the state of Pernambuco. Pernambuco is one of the States in Brazilian northeast. The capital is Recife, by the Atlantic Ocean; the second largest city is Olinda, in the metropolitan area of Recife.

NOTES FROM OUR PASTOR - Growing in faith! This season called "after Pentecost" is commonly called the season of growth! In what sense though are we supposed to grow? I would invite you to consider the season of growth in at least 3 ways. We are invited to grow as a community of faith, we are invited to grow in faith, and finally we are invited to the growth of faith. A lot has happen in our country recently in the federal and local arenas. We are still dealing with one of the hardests economic crisis of our history, health reform came and frustrated many, environmental crisis raise questions on our ability to push for responsible practices, and the immigration reform is halted and undermined by outragiously bad state initiatives. Fear, anger, frustration and much more seem to challenge our church's ability to once again affirm that the righteous will live from faith to faith." (Read More)
